| So about 3 weekends ago, I went to the Radiohead concert in Dallas with my friend Tiffany! It was really cool getting to hear them live! However the next day when I was driving back to Austin, I got pulled over by a stupid cop and was given a speeding ticket! Ugh! well that ticket has been stressing me out! I cant take defensive driving because it hasnt been a year since my previous ticket. So I decided that I would hire a lawyer to represent me, and hopefully I could get the ticket dismissed or get deferred disposition, which is where I'm put on probation for 3 months and then nothing goes on my record afterwards. Anyways, so found the lawyer online and then called them to represent me. I faxed over my stuff and gave them my credit card to charge me. I waited like a week and then realized they hadnt charged my card, so I called them to make sure everything was okay. Turned out, they kinda forgot about me, but everything got fixed after that call..i guess.....Then the next week I called to make sure everything was going okay, and the person that answered started off with laughter, like she was joking around with someone right before she answered the phone.... Yesterday I finally got the lawyer representation letter in the mail for me to sign, and the first thing I notice was that there were typos all over the contract... and the typos were in the areas where they wrote in CAPS..making it even more noticeable!

inslude????? a hurn jury????????? dont they mean include and hung? WTF???? arent lawyers especially, supposed to be on top of this shit? everything just seems so unprofessional from this law firm so far....but I paid my money already its too late......
And then to make it worse, I realized I coulda just checked the deferred disposition option on the ticket itself (which I didnt see until now) and mailed it to the court myself...and not have had to bother with paying for a lawyer...I guess, I can still just hope it gets dismissed and that the lawyer doesnt screw things up!
ugh! I'm gonna invest in a radar detector very soon.

| So for this month of April, I have a couple of goals that I've set for myself...
1. I must study and pass my series 7 license exam. I've scheduled to take it close to the end of this month, so I better start getting my ass into gear. Hopefully I can find some other nerds to study with because I am lazy as hell on my own and hopefully writing this here will make me less lazy.
2. I want to make this month my first profitable month at work... I feel like I'm so close!... yet so far...sigh* I want to stay focused, confident, and self-disciplined....I know I can do it, its just a matter of patience!
3. I am going to eat healthier and live healthier...I've started to watch the junk that I eat and I'm not gonna go ape-shit wild when I'm eating something that I love to eat. LOL I'm gonna try to control my portions and also workout more. I started this workout program called P90X which is supposed to get you looking good and really fit after 90 days (hence the name). So far its been the 2nd week of it and its fucking exhausting...haha ill see how long I can stick to it. I'm taking before and after shots of myself lol.
4. I am gonna train hard in my jiu jitsu to get better...I feel like I'm kinda lagging behind in my skills and there is a huge tournament in Dallas at the beginning of next month that I want to compete in. The first place winners in their division get a custom engraved samurai sword! I WANT IT! haha
o man, all these things stress me out when I think about them though...but I'm gonna push myself this month and see what comes out of it! grrrr!!! I don't have time to fucking play around, well....at least not too much hahaha. we'll see...
I also kinda wanna get into painting...I did some painting recently and I found it somewhat relaxing and fulfilling!

I've also been messing around with myspace recently! It's actually kinda fun though its sad that not many people I know use it anymore...just like poor xanga....but if you have one and still use it, you can look me up on it.
Also, a few of my friends and I started this ridiculous group on myspace called the one take wonders, where we just do one take and improvize random lyrics for laughs...hope it makes you laugh too...however personally for me I kinda wanna throw up whenever I hear myself recorded. LOL

| well, I suppose I should write something here since I haven't in such a freakin long time. I'm still just hangin out here in austin working on becoming a good day trader. I feel like I've definitely improved a lot over the past few months, but still have a ways to go. I'll be studying for the series 7 and other shit license exams very soon. ugh... life right now basically consists of day trading, some jiu jitsu and the occasional going out to party thing. haha I had fun in houston this past weekend since it was my mom's and other friends' bdays! Went to party at Deco on saturday. was really great to see some old friends again. My family and I went to toyko one for dinner on sunday which was actually pretty good! I've been getting into polaroid cameras recently too since i heard that the company decided to stop production of its instant film.. kinda sad, so i figured i should get a camera and take lots of polaroids... they've got a nostalgic feel to them... and they are kinda cool to look at! maybe I should start a polaroid club or something... okay this was a boring entry...when something really exciting happens i'll post again...but no promises. LOL

| eBay Shenanigans!
So recently my cell phone died on me and I had to purchase a new one. I decided to go look on eBay and get one from there. I ended up buying this used cell phone that was stated by the seller to be unlocked and in excellent condition. I noticed that his shipping charge was kinda high too, so before I purchased it, I asked him if he could possibly lower it, to which his response was "no, I wish I could but I am just following the shipping calculator..." I also asked him about the condition and everything about the phone for reassurance before making the purchase. He said it's in "excellent condition! "no damage I guarantee you that!" "its unlocked no problems!"
Of course I have no reason not to believe him, since hes got a nice 100% record on his eBay account. So I make my purchase. Well, once it arrived at my door. I instantly noticed that it was not in excellent, no damage condition. The screen was scuffed up a bit and the top and bottom make it look like its been dropped quite a few times. Next, I put my sim card in and guess what? this phone isn't unlocked! so I couldnt use it with my cingular service. Not only that, I noticed that he charged me more than 2x the actual shipping cost. Normally I wouldn't really mind as long as the item is great, but the phone wasn't even unlocked!
I had to do some research on my own, thanks to the internet, and figured out how to eventually unlock it myself. I sent him a message politely telling him that I am rather disappointed with my purchase because of all these things. Of course he makes excuses and apologizes now saying he "honestly don't know nothing about phones" and "thought it was unlocked." At this point, I am thinking that eh whatever, at least it works, I got ripped off a bit but I am not gonna leave any feedback. I don't wanna give positive feedback. yet I don't want to be mean and leave negative feedback or possibly get negative feedback in retaliation.
Its now been a few weeks and he keeps emailing me every 2-3 days asking be to leave feedback. I just ignore it. I am not required to leave feedback. heck, half the people that I buy from never leave me anything. He then emails me "Hey, well its the last time I'm going to ask you to leave feedback, i don't care
if its negative feedback or positive feedback, Just leave Feedback for me...
" I start laughing hahaha who the hell would want negative feedback!?!? anyways again, I just ignore it. Then today he emails me again saying "if you wont leave feedback for me, I will leave you negative feedback." hahahaha now he threatens me, when hes got my money and I paid immediately after the the auction!
I still feel mean for this but I decide to just grant him his wish since he wanted it so bad. I gave him negative feedback stating "phone not unlocked, not in stated condition, paid 2x shipping cost, and seller threaten to give me neg feedback" Thus staining his perfect 100% record as well. hahaha
Then a few hours later, he sends me a eBay feedback withdrawl request for me to agree upon....haha talk about ridiculous! and just now he sent me another email say "I just wanted a feedback, i apologize for threaten to give negative feedback,
All i wanted is just a feedback. i was really looking forward to the
+feedback." This guy is such a tool!!!! hahaha Why the heck would he think this entire time I would give him a positive feedback? ridiculous!!! hahahaha. It's sooo funny! hahaha But even still, i'm feeling little bad and sorta sorry for the guy now and I just think maybe I should withdraw the feedback. Maybe all he has to look forward to is eBay positive feedbacks....i mean, at least the phone works now that I unlocked it right?
And if anyone out there is reading this eBay rant of mine at 3 am in the morning, let me know what you think! Should I just be nice and show mercy? or did he get what he deserves? LOL haha
Anyways, Now that I am all moved and settled into Austin, along with a functional phone, dear friends please feel free to call me anytime! I know ya'll miss me in Houston! haha later
